Years ago, one of my sisters-in-law was talking about the importance of having circucision, and I couldn't resist saying, ""Is that why no males survived to adulthood until doctors started circumcising baby boys?"
Circumcision is one of the strongest arguments atheists have against Christianity; there is still a deep-seated feeling that it's necessary to salvation; regardless of the arguments anyone might give for it, that's the feeling behind the arguments.
