By the way of those quotation marks, I take it you believe a moment of weakness is an affair? Or is that it doesn't quite make a difference anyway?

No, I think a moment of weakness and an affair are two different things. I was just quoting the tv news guy I first heard it from, who was in turn quoting the guy who was shot. From what I can tell, the shooter believed they were having an affair, but I have no reason not to believe the shooting victim when he said they had a moment of weakness but were never intimate. It's a tragedy in any case, especially since it seems to be all over a misunderstanding.
