Most of the day, I wasn't sure I was going to, but I did stop on the way home to vote. It seemed pointless to take a Democratic ballot, so I took a Republican one in order to vote for somebody other than Mitt. The candidates who had already dropped out were still on it.

On television last week, a Santorum supporter observed that his guy was getting a surprising amount of support in this state. I'm pretty sure almost no one in this state really supports Santorum. We're not voting for him, we're voting against Romney. That's what I did, but it unsurprisingly didn't work.

There was one guy I'd never heard of running for Clerk of the General Court, or something like that. A bunch of people were running for Town Council, and the only name I knew was Henry Papuga, the former Water Company Manager. He was running the place when we had a boil-before-using order in place a couple of years ago. It took a few weeks to clear that up, and he was recently indicted for falsifying test results. I didn't vote for him.

There was also an Arsholous Sannicandro. I'd never heard of him either, but I should have voted for him anyway. Then I could have said I voted for an asshole and an Arsholous on the same ballot.

I always vote for someone who's out of the race,
just to keep the winner nervous...

and I usually vote for people I never heard of,
for pretty much the same reason...
