For the first time this season, I got on my bike and pedaled around town for a couple of hours. My legs feel like rubber. One of the places I rode to was the park where they have a carnival and fireworks around the fourth of July every year, but there was no carnival. That was a little unexpected, and I thought maybe they weren't going to have fireworks either, but later I saw a sign that they were having them at a different park, tonight. No carnival, though. I watched the fireworks from my front yard.
