For me, it's going to be frightening. Neither party suits me imo and I'm done with voting for "vote with the lesser of two evils". Therefore, I vote third party and will until my voice is heard. Besides, it's not a completely wasted vote since there is other stuff to vote for (i.e senators, amendments to bills)

However, as I learned back in 2010, things can be frightening even if you vote in a system with more than two parties. I was flabbergasted when the Swedish Democrats (that would be the Swedish version of the BNP) got voted into power (you need 4% and they got in with a 5.4% if I recall correctly). More people voted for them than they did with my SO's party (the Left Party, or the Socialists). While i know Sweden is not a socialist country as people lead Americans to believe (it does have programs brought to the people by the Social Democrats, the other socialist party), I was still shocked how you got shit in Sweden like you do in America. It comes to show that we still have a long way to go with bigotry if countries like Sweden still have shit like this.
