The Tension Mounts
Nov. 4th, 2014 11:05 pmThe Governor's race here in Massachusetts is going down to the wire. All four referendum questions went opposite to the way I voted. It looks as if my long-term State Senator, whom I voted for, is going to lose to a guy named Fattman.
In New Hampshire, all the news organizations are declaring Jean Shaheen the winner over Scott Brown. Please let it be true. It's also a close race.
Here's my thought about the U.S. Senate. If the Democrats keep control, things aren't going to go so well for them in 2016. If the Republicans take over, which appears to be about to happen, a majority of voters will be so disgusted with them that the Democrats will fare much better in two years. Wishful thinking? Maybe.
