Pink Rainbow
Oct. 26th, 2011 09:02 pmAs has been the case all week so far, this morning when I left for work the eastern sky was a bright and beautiful shade of pink. Almost red, but not quite.
I didn't really notice until I was on the interstate highway, that except for the eastern edge, the entire sky was overcast with dark clouds. Going north, the pink sun and pink sky were to my right, and there was a rainbow to my left, though there was no sign of rain where I was. The awesome thing about it was that I couldn't see any of the actual rainbow colors. Because of the heavy filtering of the sunlight, all I could see was pink. An entirely pink rainbow. I'd never seen that before in my whole life, and probably never will again.
