U.S. Open tennis

I like watching tennis, but this is just about the only tournament I pay much attention to. Maybe it's because it's the only major one that's in my time zone. I'm a little bummed that the men's final will be starting about two hours before I get home from work tomorrow.
It wasn't too un-American to be rooting for an Australian woman to win the U.S. Open championship on 9/11, was it?
