I'd turn it in, for sure. Whoever lost it would no doubt be missing it, and if I lost a wad of cash I'd hope that it would be found and returned.
Several years ago I found a $20 bill on the floor of my regular morning convenience store, and took it to the register. The woman who dropped it, another regular customer, was still in the store. She was grateful, as I would have been in the same situation.
