After a brief piece about a guy who exposed himself at a library in Brookline, the next story was about a plan to possibly release some video footage of Osama's burial at sea.
If one wants anything like real news, one must turn to the internet. This has been true for a while, but now it's more so than ever. Way more.
Thank you everybody for your comments in my last post. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who felt that way.
As to how I feel about Bin Laden's death, I wish we could have captured him and put him on trial instead of turning him into a martyr, though I'm sure that spectacle would have presented plenty of problems in itself. I'm not sorry he's gone, but I'm not rejoicing either. I know this is by no means the end of anything, and I wish everybody else knew it also and that people would quit celebrating. I'm not liking how we look to the rest of the world right now.
