The not really a mosque not really at ground zero

I have to say I'm totally turned off by any reference to it as the Ground Zero Mosque. Call it a cultural center and say it's two blocks away from ground zero, and I'll be willing to talk about it.

This is the wrong reason to hope it gets built, but I hope it does just because of how much it'll irk the Republicans and the Islamophobic conservative nuts who support them. Otherwise, due mostly to my nearly complete detachment from anything to do with religion, I truly wouldn't give a shit either way.

There were some letters to the editor in today's paper, some for and some against.
( The best one was also the shortest. )
