Turning an old page
Jan. 23rd, 2010 11:12 pmI really shouldn't keep letting myself fall behind in my newspaper reading. Every time I get caught up, I vow to stay that way, but it never works out. The Boston Globe is usually not a problem because I take it to work and read it at lunch time most days, but the Milford Daily Snooze is another matter. In a way, though, reading old shit can be kind of amusing. We're practically on the eve of sweeping health care reform. Martha Coakley has a big lead over Scott Brown in the polls. The Patriots are the team No One wants to face in the playoffs. People are optimistic about 2010.
Anyway, now I'm only about a week behind, and I will be caught up before the night is over. And I'm going to stay that way.
