Jan. 14th, 2010 11:02 pmI don't understand why in this, the supposedly most liberal state in the country, the race for Ted Kennedy's Senate seat is so close. I like to think it's some flaw in the polling methods, but who knows? Thankfully it'll all be over soon. The radio and television commercials are even more annoying than those of a November presidential election. Not even kidding.
My extreme sadness over what's happening in Haiti turns to pissedoffedness when I read about what Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson have said about it. Considering the sources, it shouldn't bother me. But it does. Speaking of Pat Robertson, Shannon Wheeler found this somewhere, and I couldn't resist the temptation to snag it:

In a bit of good news with an infuriating twist, an arrest has been made in the murder of a store clerk who was shot to death the day after Christmas after fully cooperating with a robber. The guy who was arrested is a convicted killer out on parole.
