Neil Entwistle is in Wikipedia
Jun. 8th, 2008 11:21 pmMy jury duty reminder notice arrived in the mail yesterday. Tuesday, June 24 at 8 a.m. in Worcester. However, there's a possibility I won't have to go. I have to call after 3:00 the day before to listen to a recorded message to find out if my group has to show up. My group number is 37, so hopefully it'll be a slow court day and they won't need that many. I have no idea how many people are in a group. Lots, I hope.
Getting picked for a trial would be rather inconvenient, but probably wouldn't suck nearly as bad as being stuck on the jury in Neil Entwistle's trial, which finally started a few days ago. That thing will no doubt drag on for weeks, though I can't imagine anybody could think he's not guilty. Not that I would jump to any premature conclusions or anything, but:
Wife Murdered + Husband Skips Town or in this case The Country = Husband Did It.
Am I correct? So I'd be thinking throughout the trial what a waste of time this whole thing is, and just let me vote guilty now and get the hell out of here.
Time to get some sleep. Good night!
