Electability revisited
Jan. 30th, 2008 11:08 pmWell, I was all set to vote for Edwards in Tuesday's primary, in part for reasons cited in this column by Ted Rall. Until today, I was pretty sure the democratic voters were faced with three mutually exclusive choices:
1) Nominate an African American
2) Nominate a woman
3) Elect a democrat
but, as I said before, I hope I'm wrong. #1 or #2 will no doubt happen, and I also hope #3 is still an available option, even with Edwards out of the picture. A lot can happen to change things between now and November.
I'm going to take a democratic party ballot and vote for Obama.
