If There Is A God...
Nov. 3rd, 2007 11:12 pmI'm sure he doesn't hate anybody. I don't hate anybody either, but there are people I have serious issues with.
Fred Phelps and his followers or whatever they call themselves are coming to Boston tomorrow, though I don't know exactly why because I won't go to their website to find out. Hopefully it's not to inflict more pain on a grieving family at someone's funeral, but I just don't know.
I really wish people could just ignore those creeps, but they can't. There'll be counter-demonstrations and media coverage, and that's exactly what they want. They thrive on it. If everybody just ignores them, they will go away.
The chance that I'll ever come face-to-face with him is extremely slim, but if it ever happens I probably won't be able to ignore him either. I don't think I'd be able to resist the urge to tell him how sad and unfortunate it is that this is how his latent homosexuality manifests itself.
Anyway, that's my totally non-expert theory about why he does what he does, that I'm exercising my first amendment right to express. While I still can.
