(no subject)

An entry like this one from pmegan is something I could probably write just about every day, instead of waiting for the time or the inspiration or for something to happen that seems worth writing about.

But this isn't one of those.

Though I joined b0st0n a long time ago, I took it off my friends list because back then it kept filling my friends page and I didn't feel like bothering with a filter to keep it out, so I just went over there to read it only occasionally. Megan's entry prompted me to go and look because I hadn't done that in a while. I didn't see much rabble-rousing, but I did see an entry about numerous CompUSA stores being closed all over the country, including all the ones here in Massachusetts except the one in Holyoke. And according to their store locator, it's already happened?

I was taken by surprise, and almost nothing surprises me. Ever.

Holyoke? Why Holyoke of all places?

Now that I think about it, however, I was at the one in Framingham only a few days ago. And didn't buy anything. And thinking further, I probably haven't bought a single thing there in a year or more. Maybe two. Or more. So I guess I don't care, then.
