Happy Halloween!
Oct. 31st, 2006 10:38 pmI looked back at my previous Halloween entries to see if I wrote about the number of trick-or-treaters. Last year we had six, the year before that we had a record high (in this house, anyway - when we lived in Hopedale we had well over 100) of twenty or so, and the year before that we had eight. Before that? I didn't have a livejournal.
Jackie's still in Nebraska so I left work a little earlier than usual to make sure I was here before the little hooligans started showing up. Tonight's count was five. I'm kind of glad it wasn't more because the doorbell really freaks out the cats, but now I have KitKats up the wazoo. I'm just going to take them to work tomorrow, lest I be tempted.
Well, just one won't hurt.
Nope! I'm not gonna do it!
