Sep. 4th, 2006 11:59 pmSo, around 1:00 this afternoon I was driving on Main Street in Medway and came upon a scene where a young boy had just been hit by a car while crossing the street, apparently only moments earlier. He was lying in an area between a parking lot and the road, being attended to by several people. His sneakers were still in the middle of the road. It was not a nice thing to see.
I pulled into the parking lot and very thankfully saw that he was talking and moving one of his legs. Then I heard sirens, and not wanting to be in the way, I left. I hope he's ok. There'll probably be something about it in the Milford paper tomorrow.
UPDATE: Yep, it was in the paper. He was taken to the hospital to be checked but it appeared he had no serious injuries, which was really lucky for him after getting knocked out of his shoes like that.
