If I lived in Connecticut, I would have voted for Ned Lamont. Reading about the republicans' glee over the result of this primary makes me nervous, though. The argument that being against the war in Iraq is unpatriotic is really getting old, and I hope it's way older still by November. The democrats have a real opportunity to gain some serious ground this election year. I hope I'm wrong, but I have this unsettling feeling that they're going to fuck it up.
