The phone rang. I used to always assume it meant bad news when the phone rang at night, but now I always assume it's a wrong number, because it always has been so far. One of these times it won't be, though. I'm very sure of that.

It went to voice mail before I got to answer it. The caller ID showed the name Ferreira Costa with a Framingham number. I don't know anybody with that name, but he left us a message. It's in Italian. I have no effing idea what he said.
