What time of year is it, anyway?

Last Friday, the temperature around here was in the mid seventies. This morning I heard that our town was mentioned nationally on the weather channel for the 3-and-a-half inches of snow that we got yesterday. Today it all melted because the temperature was in the fifties.

In other local-ish news, a couple of teenaged boys were arrested recently for breaking into a water tower and contaminating Blackstone's water supply with an unknown substance. People were told not to drink the town water and for a while were advised not to even shower with it until the substance could be identified and dealt with.

Tonight I saw on the news that they peed in it. I'm glad I don't live in Blackstone.
