Ayla Brown

got the axe. I never watch American Idol so I have no idea what she sounds like, but I sure know what she looks like because she's been on the front page of our local newspaper every freakin' day for like three weeks. She lives three towns away. Her father is a state senator (a republican in Massachusetts!) and her mother is a news reporter on channel 5 in Boston.

I'd say that maybe now there'll be room in the paper for real news, but around here I guess that is real news. Anyway, I'm sorry she didn't go further.
