A question
Feb. 1st, 2006 11:59 pmShould I read A Million Little Pieces or shouldn't I? For the longest time I kept hearing how fantastic it is because, you know, it's a true story. I have several books waiting in line to be read, and this one is almost next. I wish I'd already read it before the controversy erupted, because now I'm not sure I even want to. Have you read it? Is it worth reading anyway?
If what I heard on the radio yesterday is correct, James Frey's contract to write two more books, one fiction and one non-, was cancelled by the publisher. They should probably let him write the fictional one, since he seems to be pretty good at making stuff up.
