Who is most to blame for the Katrina catastrophe? Nature? Federal officials? State and local officials? Usually, the people who say "Now is not the time to be pointing fingers" are the ones most deserving of having fingers pointing at them.

Brownie's out of the picture now. It must be all his fault.

For the third or fourth day in a row, I heard on a talk radio show that about the "fact" that President Bush offered assistance to the governor of Louisiana twice before the hurricane hit, and she turned him down both times, but I didn't see it in the Katrina timeline. Of course, it must have been left out because of the liberal bias, or maybe I just missed it. Yeah, that must be it.

I found the Eight Big Lies About Katrina to be pretty interesting also.

Thanks go to The Blue Voice for the links.

1. Go into your LJ’s archive.
2. Find your 23rd post (or closest to).
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Tag 5 people on your friends list.

I'm going to ignore even more of the instructions than Lane did.

My 23rd entry only had one sentence, and while I don't exactly remember the news article, the comments give a damn good idea of what it was about. Here's the whole thing:

And let me just say that, to this day I still love that icon of Tia's.

Now I'm supposed to tag five people, but instead I'm just going to say "Do it if you wanna!"
