One year ago today, the bright and beautiful [livejournal.com profile] juliegrrl was nice enough to give me an invite code. What seems most unreal is that it's been a whole year already. And I have 184 entries.

Things I'd like to do in the fairly near future include:

1. Changing the look of my journal - it's been the same since about day 3.
2. Adding more icons.
3. Transcribe the rest of my scribbling from Wisconsin.
4. Breathe some life into [livejournal.com profile] metrowest.

is a sad event to a pilot. Sometimes it's infuriating, but usually it's just sad. Such was the case when I heard, a while ago, that Cape Cod Regional Airport in Marstons Mills had closed. It was the first grass field airport I'd ever flown into or out of.

Today I was very surprised when one of the engineers at work told me he has a friend who flies out of the airport at Marstons Mills on Cape Cod. From what I'd always heard, closed airports never reopen. But apparently this one did! Usually they end up becoming a condo complex or something.

This bit of nice news is as yet unconfirmed, but I have no reason to doubt the guy.
