Oshkosh trip part 1
Aug. 5th, 2004 11:07 pmI know I said that everything I scribbled on the 5x7 pad would end up here eventually, but I'm skipping what I wrote on Monday because it's boring. It was about me picking up my uncle in Upton at 3 on Sunday, arriving at Dad's in Concord at 5, going out to eat at Outback, staying up late, getting up early, driving to the airport, two uneventful flights to Green Bay, and yes, as expected, Monday was a long day.
What I wrote on Tuesday is kind of long. A little background info: Don is one of my father's older brothers, Edie is Don's wife, and the chairs are these little walking-cane type things that unfold into little seats. Edie ordered them out of some catalog. The Castro speech is here.
( Tuesday's scribbling )
Wow. That was a lot of typing.
