a few things -
Apr. 15th, 2004 11:59 pmI only watched two episodes of The Apprentice before tonight, but I did watch the two-hour finale. I was rooting for Kwame, and I thought Omarosa was under orders to screw things up so Donald Trump could see how he handled it. Now I think she's just irresponsible and a fucking liar. Even if Kwame didn't know that firing her was an option, he definitely should have known better than to keep depending on her. Anyway, he'll do well for himself even though he didn't win.
And while I'm on the subject of Thursday night tv - I just have to say that I think Boston Rob's accent is really annoying. I don't know why, being from Massachusetts myself, but I think it is. I don't talk like that, it should be noted.
We had lots and lots of rain earlier this week. I saw on a weather report that the neighboring town of Bellingham (the town I grew up in) got four inches. We got a little less than that here, but I don't know how much exactly. There's water in the cellar, though.
It's supposed to get warmer for the weekend, and maybe reach 85 degrees on Monday, the day of the Boston marathon. That's going to be hellish on the runners.
Last weekend I went to Newbury Comics to buy some music CDs and noticed that there's a group named YeahYeahYeahs. You probably already knew about them, but I'd never heard of them before. It did explain the name of the lj user that I wrote about on April Fools day, though. I still think it's some kind of joke because he/she/it hasn't updated since that day. I don't even know why being on that user's friends list bothered me because now I don't give a shit in the least.
