Some Cool Happenings
Most of my Livejournal friends aren't old enough to remember these. Silver certificate dollar bills. Amirite? :)
Somewhere today, my off Friday, I acquired one in my change. Series 1935 D. Yesterday there was a wheat penny in my change from the cafeteria at work.
Tonight when I took out the trash, I just happened to look up at the perfect moment and saw one of the brightest shooting stars I've ever seen streak across the sky like a fireball, and there is a lot of light pollution around here. The Leonid meteor shower is supposed to peak overnight, but I don't know if this was part of that or not. Doesn't Leonid mean they appear to come from the direction of Leo? This one didn't, so I think it was just coincidental. Maybe. I really don't know!
