Feeling Fortunate

Today, an asteroid came very close. Closer than many satellites. I can't help thinking that we're not always going to be so lucky, and sooner or later something big is going to slam into the earth and cause a huge disaster. Of course I'm hoping it's later, like a few million years from now, but who knows?

I guess we really should live each day as if it's our last, because it just might be.
